Michael Bullen / Optometrist and Director
Michael graduated from Optometry in 2000. Since then he has cultivated specialist interests within optometry in contact lens fitting and has undergone training to allow him to prescribe medications for specific eye diseases. Last year Michael completed a post graduate degree in science.
Outside of optometry Michael’s other loves include his wife Hue, his newly acquired daughter Sophie, his cat Taylor and cooking (not necessarily in that order).
Hue Bullen / Optometrist and Director
Hue is the proud owner of a very large collection of glasses. As frame buyer for Eyestyle, Hue takes great delight in not only adding to her own collection but in sourcing fabulous product for the stores. Hue also completed her post graduate degree in science last year and is qualified to write prescriptions.
Outside of Eyestyle Hue enjoys shopping, eating and spending time with her family.
William Shew / Optometrist
William has been working with the Eyestyle group since 2006. He graduated with honours from the University of Auckland in 2008 and has been practicing with the therapeutic scope of practice. William also spends part of his time in the public sector working in the eye department and diabetes clinic at the local hospitals. He is currently involved in the teaching program for ophthalmic nurses at the ADHB as well as in student liason programs for the NZAO.
On his days off William enjoys riding his Vespa GTV250ie and eating.
Bianca Lodetti / Dispensing Optician
Bianca has always had a little obsession with glasses and was happy to hear the news that she was to be part of the Eyestyle team in 2009. Originally born in South Africa, Bianca now calls New Zealand home.
Soon to be a qualified dispensing optician, Bianca understands that glasses have a practical function but believes they are also a fashion accessory. To back this up, Bianca has a few pairs of glasses to suit every occasion. Who says you only have to have one nice pair!
Tamara Gill / Dispensing Assistant
Since starting with Eyestyle, Tamara has picked up a serious case of eyewear obsession. Her other loves include fashion, retro furniture and her cat Bowser.
When not at Eyestyle, Newmarket Tamara can be found at the beach or playing board games with her friends.
Tullah Bell / Dispensing Assistant
Tullah is one of our longest serving Eyestyle team members and prides herself on her attention to detail. This combined with her eye for fashion has meant she has built up a large fan base of satisfied clients.
When not at work, Tullah keeps herself busy looking after her 2 beautiful daughters as well as her cat, dog and husband.
